OUR TEAM
Matthew Pinder
Matt joined Aerotest in April 2022 as a Workshop Technician, and he’s quickly become the go-to guy for keeping our theme park rides in tip-top shape. With a trade certificate as a Carpenter, Matt’s craftsmanship is so precise that he could probably build a roller coaster with nothing but a Swiss Army knife and a ruler.
He’s made the leap from woodworking to the aerospace industry, where he now assembles and tests aircraft parts with the same meticulous attention to detail that would make even the most seasoned theme park engineer proud.
When Matt isn’t ensuring our rides don’t spin out of control, he’s indulging in his other passions: fishing and classic cars. He’s an old Holden enthusiast who knows more about fishing lures and tackle than a fish knows about water. So much so that he designs and makes his own fishing lures, using 3D modelling and printing—skills that just so happen to come in handy at Aerotest too. So if you see something cool on a ride or in a tackle box, chances are, Matt had a hand in it!
